Captain Michael Avinon, a fifth generation Floridian, has been fishing in Florida his whole life. He started off as a first mate in the Florida keys, then moved to Naples in 1992 and began his career as a charter captain. Over the years he’s won numerous tournaments and also holds six world records that are still currently unbroken. Gaining popularity in Florida as a captain has led him to appear in multiple fishing television shows, including Captains Tales, Sportsman’s Adventures with Captain Rick Murphy, Real Animals with Captain Mike Anderson, and most recently with Captain Blair Wiggins. He has also had multiple appearances on Florida Insider Fishing report as well.
Captain Michael believes the key to a successful fishing charter is having a patient, knowledgeable, fishing guide who not only puts you on fish, but teaches you how to fish. So if you’re looking for an unforgettable fishing experience then Captain Michael is excited to meet you!
